Columba is a small southern constellation, meaning "dove" in Latin. It was created in the 16th century and is now one of the 88 official constellations. TV Columbae is a faint, variable star in Columba. It’s a binary system with a white dwarf, known for its irregular brightness due to strong magnetic fields.
